Job Description Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment educator at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment educator, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for providing the youth and clients living with us with the security, care, and treatment they need. We often encounter people in crisis, which means you will work with qualified care and motivation work and provide daily support. With your expertise in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to fulfilling treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work, contributing to legal certainty, planning, and follow-up of our activities. You help maintain safety according to our routines and ensure daily activities run smoothly, including schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Being a contact person is also one of your tasks. The work may also involve mentoring new employees and trainees. This is a job for someone who sees a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in difficult life situations. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied. Our vision is to be a place of change, which permeates our approach, commitment, and attitude. To meet the target group's needs, we especially welcome male applicants. Working hours are according to a schedule of day, evening, and weekend shifts. As a new employee, you will undergo SiS's 10-week basic training. The training combines theory with supervised introduction and prepares you for the treatment role in SiS's operations. Qualifications To succeed in your work, you have a deeply rooted positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and share SiS's core value of being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our youth. As a person, you are confident and easily create relationships with both youth and other staff members. You have good communication skills and can remain calm in pressured situations. You are easy to collaborate with and can handle conflicts constructively. You should also have: • A degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work, or an equivalent college education • B driver's license • Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written It is meritorious if you have: • Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or LSS care • Experience from client-facing positions, such as in the Criminal Justice System • Experience working with youth care At SiS, we value good employee participation.
