About Fänriken HVB
Fänriken HVB is a smaller, family-oriented residence with five placements. The unit caters to girls aged 13-17 years. It is common for the youths to have emotional regulation challenges, lack of impulse control, difficulties with social interactions, and other self-destructive behaviors. Fänriken accepts placements according to SoL (Social Services Act) and LVU (Care of Young Persons Act) and can receive girls from all over Sweden. We operate based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods. The main components of our treatment program include individual therapy (CBT), manual-based DBT in groups, and structured key worker meetings. By observing and clarifying functional behaviors, we draw the youth's attention to strategies and tools for managing life's situations independently. We also work with social skills training, where the youths practice social and practical skills through daily activities alongside staff and other youths.
