SiS LVM Home Hessleby, located in a beautiful forest setting just outside Mariannelund, accommodates men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse issues. We have specific expertise in receiving clients with mental health issues or outwardly aggressive behavior. Our mission is to provide care for clients with special needs. Job Description Are you interested in helping create life-changing transformations for vulnerable individuals? Then the role of treatment educator at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment educator, you work in a team with treatment assistants and coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the youth and clients residing with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often encounter individuals in crisis, which means you will engage in skilled care and motivational work while providing everyday support. Using your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the fulfillment of treatment plans. Documentation is a vital part of your work, contributing to legal security, planning, and monitoring our operations. You will help maintain safety according to our procedures and contribute to the smooth running of daily activities, including schooling, cleaning, meal preparation, and more. You will also be responsible for contact person duties. The role may include providing guidance to new employees and interns. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends. As a new employee, you will undergo a basic training program at SiS lasting 10 weeks. The training combines theory with guided introduction and equips you for the treatment role within SiS. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must have a strong positive view of humanity. You are motivated to help individuals in vulnerable life situations, sharing SiS's core values as a place of change. Furthermore, you possess a good ability to create engagement and participation among our youth. You are secure in yourself and can easily establish relationships with both youth and other staff members. You have strong communication skills and can maintain your composure in high-pressure situations. You are a team player and can manage conflicts constructively. You should also have: • A degree from a two-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational university (KY/YH) focused on social/pedagogical treatment work or an equivalent education from a university that we assess as comparable • A valid driver's license (B) • Proficient Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form At SiS, we value good employee engagement.
