About this role

About Rebecka Rebecka has five departments with different missions. Investigation work is carried out by psychologists, investigation secretaries, teachers, and nurses, and when the assignment requires, child psychiatrists as well. The girls placed at Rebecka have at least one contact person to turn to during their stay. The contact person is responsible for planning and designing the treatment plan together with the girl, social services, and her network. Contact persons also conduct structured conversations with the girls every week. At Rebecka, we conduct treatment work using methods such as Relapse Prevention (RP), Aggression Replacement Training (ART), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Treatment is provided both in groups and individually. All girls have an individualized treatment plan based on their needs and the social services' assignment. The institution works from a low-affective approach. The girls typically have very complex issues including trauma, substance abuse, antisocial behavior, personality disorders, and various neuropsychiatric difficulties. Our mission is to provide girls with better conditions for a socially functioning life without substance abuse, criminality, or other norm-breaking behavior.
