We provide differentiated and high-quality educational, care, and treatment services. Our operations involve a variety of professions, including teachers, treatment pedagogues, psychologists, nurses, among others. SiS Youth Home Nereby accommodates both school-age and non-school-age boys and girls with psychosocial issues, as well as those involved in crime and substance abuse. **Job Description** Do you want to be part of creating life-changing transformations for vulnerable individuals? Then the role of treatment pedagogue at SiS Youth Home Nereby is a meaningful job for you. We are currently seeking two treatment pedagogues for one of our departments for boys in Bergsjön. As a treatment pedagogue, you will work in a team alongside treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you will be responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients residing with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often encounter individuals in crisis, which means you will engage in qualified care and motivational work, providing support in their daily lives. With your knowledge in care and treatment work, you will actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work, contributing to legal security, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You will help maintain safety according to our routines and assist in ensuring that daily activities, such as schooling, cleaning, and cooking, run smoothly. Being a contact person for clients is also one of your responsibilities. The role may also include mentoring new employees and interns. This position is for you who see a positive challenge in working with vulnerable individuals in difficult life situations. The job can often be demanding but is also stimulating, joyful, and varied. As a new employee, you will undergo SiS's basic training for 10 weeks. The training combines theory with a guided introduction and prepares you for the treatment role within SiS. **Qualifications** To succeed in your role, you have a solid positive view of humanity. You are motivated to help individuals in vulnerable life situations and share SiS's core values of being a place for change. Furthermore, you possess a strong ability to foster engagement and participation among our youth. As a person, you are self-assured and easily build relationships with both young people and other staff members. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You collaborate well with others and can handle conflicts constructively. **Requirements:** - Degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or equivalent education from a university as assessed by us. - B driver's license - Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written **Meritorious:** - Experience working with individuals in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry, HVB (home for care and accommodation), or LSS (support and service for persons with certain functional impairments). - Experience in client-facing positions within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, e.g., probation officer. - Education in care and support - Experience working with our target group (e.g., in youth care, LVU, etc.) At SiS, we value good employee engagement.
