About Viljan HVB Home BergViljan Home Berg is a safe and cozy residence located in a beautiful red wooden house from the early 1900s. The facility is aimed at girls aged 14-20 years who experience psychosocial difficulties and/or socially disruptive behavior. Viljan Home Berg is situated in the northern part of Stenungsund municipality in the locality of Ödsmål, approximately 5 km outside of Stenungsund. We look forward to welcoming you to Viljan! We are seeking someone interested in joining our team of permanently employed treatment pedagogues on a temporary contract basis. We currently have openings for both fixed-term full-time and hourly temporary positions. We primarily work day shifts from 9 AM to 9 AM or 9:30 AM to 9:30 AM, but shorter shifts may occasionally occur within the schedule. About the Role of Treatment PedagogueA treatment pedagogue is primarily characterized by a strong commitment and interest in the target group and sees opportunities in their interactions with individuals. As a treatment pedagogue, you will work closely with individuals facing various forms of challenging life situations. The role involves contributing to a safe and supportive environment where individuals can gain tools for personal development, recovery, and social functioning. By planning and implementing interventions, both individually and in groups, you will support clients in their daily lives and contribute to their long-term well-being. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in the youths' activities and daily life at the residence. • Conduct supportive and motivational conversations based on the youths' life events. • Together with permanent staff, plan activities in accordance with the facility's routines. QualificationsYou are relationship-oriented and have a good ability to establish contact with individuals in vulnerable situations. You remain calm and stable, maintaining a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have strong collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, enjoying working with a team. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person passionate about care work and are able to recognize individual needs. We place great importance on personal suitability. Requirements: • Experience working with youth in HVB settings or within LSS. • Some form of education in social care, treatment work, behavioral science, or psychology/psychiatry. • Driver’s license. Meritorious: • Qualified social pedagogue or 400 YHP treatment pedagogue, with knowledge in mentalization theory. • Academic degree such as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or equivalent.
