State Institutions Board (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial challenges and adults with substance abuse issues. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and facilities for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Råby receives both girls and boys. We have both closed and open placements for closed youth care and treatment placements for youth under compulsory care.
Job Description
Are you motivated by helping youth/clients in vulnerable life situations? Do you also enjoy organizing, leading, and planning? Apply for the group leader position at SiS! As a group leader, you are responsible for planning and operationally leading and distributing daily work in the department. The group leader is part of the core staffing and works actively in the operational activities, focusing on guiding and strengthening colleagues' ability to take responsibility and collaborate.
By being a good role model for colleagues in the department, you will promote a professional approach.
In close collaboration with staff planners and unit managers, you will lead and distribute personnel resources to ensure efficient allocation.
You are the safety and fire safety responsible for the department and ensure that safety routines are followed.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with personal maturity, high self-control, self-awareness, and a professional approach. You should be stable and stress-resistant under pressure, have good collaboration skills, and be able to lead without being a manager.
You must possess excellent administrative skills and maintain a high level of structure.
When working with vulnerable and sometimes acting-out youth and the staff working directly with them, great importance is placed on your ability to be clear, pedagogical, and low-affect in your interactions. Simultaneously, you should be flexible and solution-focused in an environment with rapid changes.
You must support our core values and treat everyone with respect, care, and clarity.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Requirements
• Relevant university degree in social sciences, care, or behavioral sciences, or other education combined with work experience that SiS considers equivalent.
• Class B driver's license.
• Experience in social work.
• Good ability to communicate and express yourself verbally and in writing.
Meriting
• Work in corrections or experience from SiS.

Employment:
This is a permanent full-time position, starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
