About the position: Vattmyren consists of two small secure treatment units that accommodate young people aged 15-20 with sexual behavior problems. The facility is located approximately 20 kilometers outside of Uppsala. In your role as a treatment pedagogue on our units, you will play an important part in daily operations by, among other things, sharing everyday life with the youths. We work with individualized treatment where each client has their own implementation plan tailored to their needs. Our team consists of all treatment staff and psychologists collaborating to provide clients with the best care based on their circumstances and situations.
As a treatment pedagogue at Vattmyren 2, your main responsibilities will include:
- Treatment interventions
- Documentation
- External contacts with social services and other governmental agencies
- Daily chores
Who are you? Working with young people requires that you are secure, structured, risk-aware, solution-focused, stress-resistant, and have the ability to function in a sometimes challenging psychosocial work environment. You possess strong communication skills with children and adolescents and can build good relationships. We are looking for someone who is a treatment pedagogue/social pedagogue with experience working in HVB settings. We welcome interest from those with other qualifications such as social workers, behavioral scientists, or other documented experience.
It is also advantageous if you:
- Have experience working in treatment for children and youth and within psychiatry
- Have experience in CBT
- Have experience in documentation work and medication management
Additional requirements: A manual B driver's license is required for the position. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills are necessary. A police background check is always required before employment for staff at HVB.
Position and working hours: Permanent employment at 100%. Working hours are distributed according to a rolling 4-week schedule. Start date is based on agreement.
Salary: To be negotiated, with other compensations according to collective agreements.
