Treatment Assistants - On-call

The treatment home Orion is a residential care facility for boys aged 12-21 who are in socially dysfunctional situations. The home focuses on youth with behavioral issues as well as school and relationship problems. At Orion, we offer both treatment and assessment. The goal of the treatment at Orion is often to establish positive relationships with the adult world, learn to manage thoughts and emotions constructively, and achieve individual goals. At Orion, we employ behavioral scientists, social workers, treatment assistants, and social pedagogues. We also have close collaboration with licensed psychologists and psychiatrists. The role includes conducting daily routines, participating in daily activities, and maintaining records. Work may be performed during the day, evening, and night. As a treatment assistant at Orion, you will work using methods such as milieu therapy, low-arousal approach, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for warm individuals who can set boundaries and maintain a professional approach in their work. Education: Desirable qualifications include treatment assistant/social pedagogue or other education in social work and behavioral science. Applications are processed on an ongoing basis.
