You will be part of an engaged team that works professionally and closely with the youth, together creating an environment where they can grow and develop. Your Role As a treatment assistant, you will work with young people who have various forms of psychosocial issues, often related to schooling, neuropsychiatric disabilities, and social challenges. Your task is to create safety and structure so that the youth can find the right tools to establish security in their daily lives. You will, among other things: • Support young people in establishing functioning daily routines • Help them manage feelings such as anxiety and worry • Promote physical activity and social interaction • Prepare them for adulthood and strengthen their independence • Work with individual action plans • Guide in everyday skills such as cooking, hygiene, and cleaning • Collaborate with colleagues and other authorities The work involves both planned interventions and the ability to act in the moment – sometimes in demanding situations. You have significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence both the youth's development and the operational methods of the organization. Since this is a new operation, you will also help create checklists and other routines for daily work. You will work according to a schedule: days, evenings, weekends, and awake nights. YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or social pedagogue/treatment assistant. You have the ability to meet people in crisis in a calm and present manner. If you also have experience from residential care, have worked with children and youth, or have structured treatment work and knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities, we consider this an asset. Since the work is practical and close to everyday life, you need to have basic knowledge in household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry, as well as being handy enough to solve simpler practical tasks in a home environment. You are interested in various leisure activities and in encouraging and stimulating others to participate. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and find it easy to communicate with both young people and partners. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you are someone who easily establishes contact and builds relationships. You are secure and stable, even in challenging situations, and have the courage to set boundaries in a respectful manner, making you a stable adult in the youth's daily lives. At the same time, you are structured and have the ability to plan and follow up on your work in a way that creates clarity for both yourself and the youth. You enjoy collaborating with others, are unpretentious, and have a genuine interest in finding solutions together with colleagues and others. Driving is part of the job, so a valid driver's license (B) is required. To work in residential care, you must provide a criminal record extract.
