The Social Administration is responsible for authority exercise, ordering of services, and self-management in the areas of individual and family care, LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and social psychiatry. Your Responsibilities
Are you good at motivating and building trust? Do you have experience working with individuals with harmful use or dependency issues? Then you might be the person we are looking for to fill the position of treatment assistant at Nya Tanneforsvägen.
As a treatment assistant, you will work to empower and motivate individuals to develop their abilities and create structure and meaning in their daily lives. You will provide support in practical tasks, help maintain good routines, and serve as a link to, for example, social services, healthcare, psychiatry, and community service.
The interventions are planned and followed up together with the individual based on their specific needs and goals, documented in an implementation plan.
We operate based on a low-arousal approach characterized by calmness, respect, and positive expectations of the individual. Documentation and follow-up of implementation plans are part of the job.
Your Workplace
Nya Tanneforsvägen is a supported living facility for adults with harmful use or dependency who need support in their daily lives. The accommodation consists of nine apartment buildings where each person is responsible for their own home and receives individually tailored support.
The staff group consists of eight employees who work during the day, in the evenings, every other weekend, and have on-call duties according to a rotating six-week schedule. During on-call hours, the work is performed independently.
In addition to working at the supported living facility, the staff also provide housing support to individuals living in regular housing who need assistance and motivation to establish functioning daily routines and maintain their residence.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone with training as a nursing assistant, caregiver, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You have experience working with individuals with harmful use or dependency issues.
It is advantageous if you have knowledge of:
• ESL (An Independent Life)
• Motivational Interviewing (MI)
• Low-arousal approach
• Educational or recovery-oriented approach
You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and possess good computer skills, as language is an important tool in both client interactions and documentation. A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
As a person, you are secure, empathetic, and collaborative. You treat others with respect and can understand others' perspectives without taking over their feelings. You handle stressful situations calmly and act solution-focused when challenges arise.
