In Sörmland, we operate protected and support housing where we now need a Treatment Assistant. The work is performed in the region, and for security reasons, the exact location cannot be specified in the advertisement. Our residents are placed in their own apartments and will receive support from you and your colleagues. About the Position As a Treatment Assistant, you will play a central role in contributing to safety, stability, and support for our residents. The work is varied and requires the ability to work independently as well as excellent collaboration skills. Your responsibilities will include: • Picking up, receiving, assessing, and registering clients • Offering support and a safe approach in daily life and during acute situations • Providing guidance and advice in individual daily planning • Practical tasks in the living environment • Communicating with authorities and other external actors • Documentation and journaling according to current routines • On-call duty during certain weeks, including weekends Working in protection and support housing requires commitment, flexibility, and a responsive approach. Since work tasks vary, we prefer candidates with broad experience and competence in social work and support. We are looking for someone who: • Has relevant education in social work or a similar field • Enjoys working both independently and in a team • Demonstrates a professional, empathetic, and secure approach • Is responsible and personally mature • Has knowledge of low-affective interaction • Holds a valid driver's license (B-class) Additional merits include: • Experience working with individuals with dependency issues • Experience meeting individuals who have been exposed to violence • Familiarity with handling acute crisis situations We also place great importance on personal suitability.
