Treatment Assistant Wanted

Fenix Omsorg is a well-established treatment center for men with addiction issues, often in combination with criminal behavior and mental health challenges. Our treatment model is based on the 12-step program and is complemented by professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurses. We are currently in a phase of expansion and are seeking staff who can work every other weekend night, with the possibility of additional shifts each month. Experience with the target group and education in the field are advantageous. Knowledge and experience of the 12-step program are particularly meritorious. **Job Responsibilities** In your daily work, you will engage in conversations and socialize with our clients. In the evenings and on weekends, the focus will primarily be on: - Testing - Documentation - Cleaning and some cooking - Participation in activities - Holding evening meetings - Distributing medication according to delegation The tasks may vary and can, depending on the degree of employment, also include driving and transportation. Supervision and social control are also important aspects of the job. **Who Are We Looking For?** We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest and commitment to helping people in vulnerable life situations. Since evening and weekend work often involves working alone, you need to be: - Secure in yourself and your professional role - Independent and proactive - Flexible - Comfortable with close client contact Experience in addiction care or working with a similar target group is highly meritorious. If you have personal experience with addiction, a minimum of three years of documented sobriety/drug-free status is required.
