SiS Youth Home Gudhemsgården accommodates non-school-attending boys with psychosocial issues, criminal behavior, and substance abuse. SiS Youth Home Gudhemsgården has recently undergone an organizational change from LVM care to LVU care and is now in an exciting phase of development. Currently, the institution consists of three departments but will expand to five departments with a total of 30 places over the coming year. Job Description Do you want to help create life-changing differences for vulnerable individuals? Then the role of treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our youth/clients towards new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in providing stability and security for our clients and are responsible for the foundation of daily life, such as cleaning, cooking, and more. You help maintain order and safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building trusting relationships and contribute to ensuring that our clients receive the security and safety they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment pedagogues and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. Working hours are scheduled for awake night shifts. Qualifications Your personal suitability is key to life-changing transformation. Therefore, you need to have a strong ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of humanity, great empathy, and the ability to build good relationships. You possess good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are willing to share your knowledge with colleagues. You should also have: • At least a two-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education equivalent to this. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant field.* • A valid driver's license (B category) • Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written At SiS, we value good employee engagement.
