SiS Youth Home Nereby operates in Harestad and Bergsjön. We provide differentiated and high-quality educational, care, and treatment services. The organization includes a variety of professions, such as teachers, treatment pedagogues, psychologists, nurses, and more. SiS Youth Home Nereby accommodates both school-age and non-school-age boys and girls with psychosocial issues, as well as those involved in criminal activities and substance abuse.
Job Description
Do you want to be part of creating life-changing transformations for vulnerable individuals? Then the position of Night Treatment Pedagogue at SiS is a meaningful challenge. We often encounter people in crisis, which means you will work with qualified care and motivational efforts. With the support of your knowledge in care and treatment work, you will actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You will help maintain safety according to our routines. The role may also include mentoring new employees and interns. This is a job for you who see a positive challenge in working with vulnerable individuals in difficult life situations. The work can often be demanding but is also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are scheduled for 75% night shifts.
As a new employee, you will undergo SiS's basic training for 10 weeks. The training combines theory with a guided introduction and prepares you for the treatment role in SiS's operations.
Qualifications
To succeed in your role, you have a solid positive view of humanity. You are motivated to help individuals in vulnerable life situations and share SiS's core values of being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our youth. As a person, you are self-assured and easily establish relationships with both youth and other staff members. You possess strong communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You collaborate well with others and can handle conflicts constructively.
You should also have:
• A degree from a two-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or an equivalent higher education that we assess as comparable
• A valid B driver's license
• Proficient Swedish in both spoken and written form
Desirable Experience:
• Experience working with individuals in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work within psychiatry or LSS care
• Experience from client-facing positions in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, e.g., probation officer
• Education in care and social services
• Experience working with our target group

Employment:
The position is a permanent contract with a 75% night working schedule and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is to be agreed upon.
