**Job Responsibilities**
Do you want to make a difference for women experiencing acute homelessness? Alma is an emergency shelter for women aged 21 and over.
We accept placements around the clock. The women placed at Alma are in acute homelessness, often coupled with substance use, exposure to violence, mental health issues, etc. We have no requirement for sobriety or being drug-free. As one of Alma's overnight care assistants is transitioning to part-time retirement, we are looking for a replacement. The position will be approximately 70%.
As a nighttime care assistant, you will provide safe support for the women placed with us. You will work closely with the rest of the staff, and the ability to collaborate is crucial for us to fulfill our mission together. At Alma, we utilize evidence-based methods such as MI, LAB, ÅP, and TMO. We constantly strive to increase our knowledge and tailor our approach to meet the needs of our clients. There is a method supervisor with coordination responsibility and a unit manager during daytime hours. The staff group receives regular external supervision and conducts joint appraisals.

**Qualifications**
Applicants should have at least a two-year vocational education in social work, or a university degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience in social work, for example, in psychiatry or addiction care, is an asset. If you have further education in the areas of psychiatry, addiction care, and domestic violence, we consider this beneficial.
You are pleasant and helpful towards others even in stressful situations. You show respect for everyone you encounter at work. You are inviting and positive. You work to ensure that the client receives what they need.
You collaborate well with others by listening, showing interest, and respecting their views. You understand the common mission and work to ensure that it is as successful as possible.
