About this role

About the Workplace Our facility is located in a scenic area in northwestern Skåne, approximately 40 minutes from central Ängelholm. We welcome girls aged 15-21 who are placed according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Special Provisions Act (LVU). At Åsbo, we offer individual care for girls who need a smaller context and more comprehensive support. In collaboration with social services, we have the ability to tailor the approach for the specific youth. Our treatment work is based on evidence-based methods, with Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) being central components. Your Role As a treatment assistant, you will work individually with youth to provide daily support and care. The goal is to establish a secure relationship where the youth wants and dares to receive offered support. You will be part of a team that collectively plans work around the youth, and our vision is that despite working independently, you will not feel alone. Tasks include practical activities such as support with ADL, cooking, cleaning, medication management, community contacts, and transportation. An important aspect is motivating the youth to develop their unique strengths/qualities and build competence. You will also play a role in promoting an active and meaningful leisure time, which requires energy and the ability to inspire. The work includes documentation. Qualifications To be qualified for the position, you must have at least two years of post-secondary education in areas such as social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. Experience with the target group is meritorious, as is knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and understanding of Neuropsychiatric Functional Disorders (NPF). We expect you to be warm and empathetic, a team player with a positive view of people's ability to change. Furthermore, you should be patient, confident, and able to handle conflicts constructively while maintaining calm in stressful situations. Computer skills and documentation experience are important, which means you should have good verbal and written communication abilities. Additional Information Start date: End of January / beginning of February 2026. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Irregular working hours, mostly day shifts distributed across weekdays and weekends. Given the target group and its needs, we only welcome female applicants. We require a police record check before employment. B driver's license is mandatory. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, so do not delay in submitting your documents.
