Treatment Specialist for Resource and Treatment Team - Support and Treatment Unit

The Support and Treatment Unit is a unit within the Social Services Department's Authority and Social Welfare area. The unit is responsible for the municipality's open care interventions such as counseling, support and treatment, family center, family counseling, and drug and crime prevention work. The Support and Treatment Unit receives assignments from the social services office and offers preventive support to municipal residents who contact us directly. Work Tasks Social Services is undergoing a comprehensive transformation with the new Social Services Act. As one of our appreciated colleagues is retiring in spring 2026, we are seeking someone who wants to be part of Öckerö Municipality's development journey towards a social service with increased accessibility and high-quality evidence-based methods. The position is located within the Resource and Treatment Team, where we receive assignments from the social services office and through direct support applications from individuals. We offer support to families with children and youth, family support, support for domestic violence, and for risk use, harmful use, and addiction. The team also provides parental support at the municipal family center, family support, and group activities. We are seeking someone who primarily wants to work with children and families, but as we are a small municipality, we also want you to find it exciting to work with a broad target group with varying support needs. You should appreciate variation in work, from individual treatment conversations to broad collaboration with multiple actors. Qualifications: • Social worker or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent • Experience in support and treatment work • Advanced training in conversational treatment such as Step 1 or equivalent We seek someone who wants to develop future social services while developing personally through new experiences and competence-enhancing initiatives. Experience working with schools on issues related to problematic school absence is considered meritorious. We also desire someone with good knowledge of social services' service provision and administrative functions. We seek someone with a strong ability to collaborate with both internal and external parties and who demonstrates confidence in their role as a treatment professional. You understand the shared mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole. A B driver's license is required. As you will work with children and youth, a police register extract will be requested from the person offered employment. What can we offer you?
