The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority exercises for children, youth, families, adults, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities.

Huddinge Municipality is the seventh municipality in Sweden to launch the crime prevention and individualized program "Rätt Kurva" in collaboration with the police.
Rätt Kurva will consist of two therapists and a coordinator. We already have an experienced therapist in place, and now we want to fill the second therapist position in the Rätt Kurva team.
In addition to Rätt Kurva, the "Unga i Riskzon" team includes a counselor from the Support Center/Mediation, two coordinators for SIG/SSPF, two youth therapists, and a social worker responsible for youth services, along with a group leader with delegated supervisory responsibilities from the unit manager. A total of nine people work within the Unga i Riskzon team.
The Open Care Unit for Youth also includes the Youth Reception, Mini Maria, and the support housing Myren. Our unit consists of a total of 19 people, led by the same unit manager. We are a pleasant group with extensive experience in open care.
Job Description
Rätt Kurva is a national method aimed at children aged 8–15 who have committed crimes with a risk of escalation. The purpose is to reverse a negative trend through close collaboration between the police and social services, where the Social Services Department is responsible for targeted support for children and families. The goal is to provide an alternative to crime by strengthening protective factors and reducing risk factors, focusing on preventing recidivism. As a therapist, you will work closely with the child and family. You will offer individualized support, involve the family’s network, and collaborate with civil society.
You play a key role in building trust, motivating, and creating change for the child's future. The program is voluntary and is an offer to the child and family. As a therapist in Rätt Kurva, you will assess the support needs of the child and other family members, lead the change process, and offer supportive conversations. In this role, you will maintain continuous contact with other collaborating actors regarding the planning and implementation of interventions aimed at children and families.
You are the spider in the web and a support function for your clients. Regular documentation is part of your duties, which requires proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. You will participate in various forums where your involvement is expected; operational collaboration with the police concerning the target group, collaboration with the children’s schools, and responsible parties in other areas. The National Operational Department (NOA) of the police in Stockholm will coordinate the Rätt Kurva operations at the national level and organize training, exchanges with other municipalities, and support with business and civil society contacts.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• A degree in social work (Socionomexamen)
• A valid driver's license (B) and driving experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with the target group of youth exhibiting norm-breaking behavior is advantageous. Treatment experience with youth and families.
• Experience in authority exercises with children and youth, as well as previous work coordinating interventions and collaborating with external actors such as schools and the police. You have good knowledge of the work of social services.
• Experience with methods such as FFT, Repulse, Turning Points, Criminality as a Lifestyle, and various parenting programs such as COPE and KOMET.
You are a secure, stable, and flexible person with a strong ability to create and maintain relationships. You are unpretentious and easily collaborate in teams while also being able to drive processes independently. You have a family perspective in your work, are solution-oriented, and enjoy working in various contexts. You need to be able to carry out structured treatment work and conduct supportive conversations with parents and youth. Personal suitability will be given significant weight.
Working hours are primarily during the day, but evening work may occur based on family needs.
