About the Position As the Used Car Manager at Berners, you will have overall responsibility for the sales of used cars at our facilities in Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Östersund. This involves developing and driving an important business segment forward – both strategically and operationally – with a focus on growth, profitability, and strong leadership. You will lead an experienced and committed team of approximately 10 people and become a key person in the organization. This is a role suited for you if you want to work in a developing position where you can truly make an impact. There is a foundational structure, but also plenty of room to put your own stamp on things. You will take on significant responsibility from day one – but also have the opportunity to build something sustainable over time. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading and developing a team consisting of salespeople, logistics personnel, and testing staff. • Driving the sales efforts of used cars across three established facilities. • Structuring the used car business, understanding the details, and how small adjustments can significantly impact results. • Being responsible for business goals, results, budgets, and follow-ups. • Contributing energy, structure, and a modern perspective on the used car business. In this role, you will report to our Automotive Market Manager and be based at our facility in Sundsvall. Regular travel to the other facilities and to meet with employees there will occur. Your Profile We are looking for someone with documented experience in sales and leadership within the automotive industry and the used car business. You are confident in your leadership and accustomed to taking responsibility for results, people, and development. You are someone who can combine structure and clarity with a human and motivating leadership style. Experience in used car sales is important – but so is your attitude, business acumen, and desire to make a difference. This is a role with a lot of freedom under responsibility – therefore, you need to be self-driven and have a modern business mindset. You should be unpretentious and have the ability to communicate with many different types of people. We also believe you have several years of experience in a leadership role that includes personnel responsibility.
