We do this, among other things, through archaeological excavations and various types of building conservation investigations. We collaborate with many different stakeholders, such as municipalities, county administrative boards, regions, and civil society. An important part of our museum mission is to communicate knowledge about and the benefits of cultural environments in public contexts. Job Responsibilities: As a building conservationist with us, you will have a variety of tasks, including building conservation investigations, conservation participation, advisory services, and processing building permit and detailed plan referrals. You will also communicate your area of expertise in connection with public events, exhibitions, and social media. Qualifications: We are looking for someone with an academic degree in the cultural environment field, with a focus on building conservation or architectural conservation. You have at least 5 years of experience in the aforementioned tasks and can perform them independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are solution-oriented, attentive, and collaborate well with both colleagues and external parties. You take responsibility for organizing your projects and ensure that tasks are completed. Certification regarding cultural values is an advantage. We use Photoshop, InDesign, GIS, and the Office suite in our work. Familiarity with these programs is a merit. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. A driver's license is required. Duration, Work Hours: Permanent position. Full-time. Start date February 9 or by agreement.
