Welcome to us
The preschools in Northern Skarpnäck consist of thirteen preschools in the district that collaborate on pedagogical development.
This is manifested in a shared internal training program and common services that support the educational content. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
The preschools have beautiful indoor environments, and we are surrounded by fantastic nature that offers endless opportunities for children to engage with nature, movement, and play. Our preschool environments are designed to attract, inspire, and challenge children in their play, fostering learning and exploration together with peers and staff.
We are now seeking childcare workers for our preschools in the Northern Skarpnäck area starting from the spring term of 2026.
We offer
We provide a wellness allowance and the opportunity to purchase training passes to Stockholm's city swimming halls with gyms and group training at a very favorable price. Additionally, as an employee of the City of Stockholm, you currently receive discounts at several other gyms and fitness facilities. We also offer work clothing and free educational meals.
Working hours are full-time, Monday to Friday, during the day.

Your role
Your role is to advance the pedagogical work in collaboration with your team. We hope to find someone who, like us, has the ambition to provide children with a safe, developing, fun, and educational time in preschool. We seek individuals who understand the importance of good and close cooperation with guardians and other significant people in the child’s environment. You are capable of building trust and confidence while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
Your qualifications
The position requires proficiency in Swedish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written Swedish. You are a trained childcare worker and feel comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
It is essential that you as a childcare worker are present and active with the children. You show joy, curiosity, and engagement in the children's exploration, asking staff for guidance on what to do or what is expected of you. In our preschools, we strive to ensure that the children thrive and succeed throughout the day. It is essential that we, as adults, always take responsibility for situations that arise. We respond, engage, and validate the children, demonstrating that they are important and that their words and actions are taken seriously.
Our families are accustomed to a well-functioning operation, and there is a high level of trust in our preschools, which means you are also expected to greet all children and families warmly and kindly, for example, by introducing yourself when you are together on the playground. We will take great care to consider your personal suitability.
