Good quality can always be better. JOB DESCRIPTION We are now looking for preschool assistants who want to become part of our team. You are a motivated and development-oriented preschool assistant who, together with us, wants to take on the challenge of building up our new organization, working methods, and learning environments. Tångalyckan Preschool consists of nine teaching groups divided into six home areas. The preschool features a newly renovated section and a new building that is wonderfully beautiful, inviting, and tailored for a preschool in our time. Our outdoor environment is varied, inspiring, and developmental. Our goal is for all teaching groups to work project-oriented. The projects should stem from the children's interests and experiences to provide them with opportunities to develop towards the goals outlined in our governing documents. You will be present in various contexts where you are expected to contribute to the preschool's development and goal fulfillment. We see you as an active educator who works closely with other colleagues in the unit to ensure that Tångalyckan Preschool is of high quality. In your role as a preschool assistant, you will work together with your colleagues to drive and promote the goals and intentions of the curriculum, ensuring that children have the conditions to develop the abilities highlighted, both in planned and spontaneous teaching situations. Your participation in children's activities is defined by being a co-discoverer and co-experiencer, contributing to creating conditions for children to progress both in the physical and psychological learning environment. Within the unit, it is natural for us to challenge each other regarding pedagogical questions/positions and see this as a prerequisite for developing both as individuals and as a group. You will strengthen the work team, and several of you will provide active support to children with diabetes. This includes regularly checking blood sugar levels, assisting with medication and diet (including calculating carbohydrate intake and insulin, as well as blood sugar measurements from finger pricks when necessary). The child has a self-care plan that must be followed. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a preschool assistant education. You have experience in monitoring and managing diabetes. As a person, you are engaged, structured, and communicative, and you can express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing. You choose to see the positives in both children, colleagues, and guardians, and your attitude is that everyone does the best they can based on their circumstances. You are flexible, eager to grow, and focused on finding solutions to drive the operations forward. Together, we create the conditions for everyone to succeed, both adults and children!
