Preschool Framtiden is a parent cooperative located in Sankt Larsparken in Lund. Our objective is to provide high-quality childcare. At the preschool, approximately 50 children are divided into three age-integrated departments. We place great emphasis on maintaining a high staff-to-child ratio and having qualified personnel. Therefore, we have chosen to employ two preschool teachers and one childcare worker per department, as well as a permanent pool position that alternates throughout the facility as needed. We prioritize building trusting relationships and see children as co-constructors of knowledge. The thoughts of the children are important, and as they explore the world through all their senses, it is our responsibility as adults to listen to and encourage their reflections. To stimulate the children in the best possible way, we work on a project basis. This means that through careful listening to the children and based on their interests, we choose paths within a topic we want to explore together, aimed at fostering dialogue and creativity effectively. To provide the best challenges, we focus on various areas based on the curriculum and consider the educational environment as essential for children's learning. We view play as a vital tool in our work with children. Play serves as a foundation for development and learning. Through play, social, physical, and cognitive skills are practiced and reinforced. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a pool position, you will work across all departments. This means you will be assigned to the department in need of staff for the day. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a qualified childcare worker with experience working with children. A strong emphasis is placed on interaction, approach, and flexibility. Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Start date is as soon as possible or as agreed upon.
