Villan Preschool Villan Preschool is a staff cooperative located in Jursla, a town north of Norrköping. We operate in spacious and bright facilities, with a large yard and pleasant outdoor environment that invites extensive outdoor activities, play, and movement. The preschool's proximity to the forest provides us with opportunities to explore nature. We focus on language, mathematics, movement, music, nature, and children's participation and influence. The preschool has one department with children aged one to five years. Villan Preschool aims to be perceived as a "small and familiar" preschool where there is time and opportunity to create a fine connection with children and parents in a natural way. Children learn primarily through play and interaction with other children. We offer children a safe yet challenging indoor and outdoor environment where they have plenty of undisturbed playtime. We go outside every day in our yard or walk to the nearby forest to stimulate children's creative play and movement. Based on the preschool's own curriculum, we have developed a work plan with objectives and pedagogical goals for Villan Preschool. Villan Preschool's Objectives: - To create a pleasant, safe, educational, and playful environment together with the children. - To recognize each child's individual needs, stimulate their desire to learn, and support their development. - To place great emphasis on children's play and strive to create fun and developmental play environments. - To work creatively and use various materials and forms of expression - play, art, movement, singing, dance, music, drama - that stimulate children's imagination and invite joy, curiosity, and creativity. - To help and encourage children to interact positively with others and strengthen their empathy and understanding of others' situations. Job Responsibilities As a childcare worker, you will participate, together with other staff, in planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing pedagogical work. The job involves close contact and collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians. Qualifications - Childcare education. Work experience is meritorious. - As a person, it is important that you are flexible, self-driven, and responsible, and can structure and plan work. - You are cooperative with colleagues and guardians, but especially with children, and have the ability to meet children at their level and pace. - For us at Villan Preschool, it is of great importance that you show respect for the equal value of all people and consider this in daily work.
