JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute during the absence of regular staff in the Preschool Area Central. The Preschool Area Central consists of five preschools located in the central parts of Motala and the Österstad preschool, which is situated a bit outside, as well as the municipality's round-the-clock operations integrated into the Sagomossen preschool. As a substitute in the round-the-clock operations, you may be scheduled for evening shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts. Your tasks will include basic cooking, and there may be periods of working alone during certain shifts. You can choose whether you want to be available for work at all preschools in the area or if you prefer to limit yourself to one or a few specific preschools. As a substitute with us, you are expected to be able to start working at short notice at various times during the operational hours. We expect you, as an applicant, to have a commitment and curiosity for children's development and learning. You communicate clearly while being attentive and have a warm and welcoming demeanor towards both children and guardians as well as colleagues. You have a joyful approach to work and possess good communication skills, being able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. Our preschools should be permeated by a curious approach where we meet each individual with respect and attentiveness. A criminal record check is required upon employment. QUALIFICATIONS Formal Competencies: • You have a high school diploma in childcare, the Child and Recreation program, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. • Experience working with children in preschool or other work that the employer considers equivalent is an advantage. • A B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle is a merit. Personal Competencies: • You are self-assured, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when necessary. You have the ability to separate the issue from the person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations. • You actively initiate social interactions, step forward, and find it easy to create and maintain new relationships. • You work well with others, relating to them in an attentive and smooth manner.
