About the Workplace
Trullstugu Föräldrakooperativ was established in 1993 and operates a small and cozy preschool in Våmhus. Our activities are led by a dedicated board consisting of member families and our principal/preschool manager. We have a general educational focus where nature is a central part of the children's daily lives. The proximity to the forest and sports field provides great opportunities for outdoor activities, motor development, and play. In the forest, we also have our own cabin where storytelling pedagogy and imagination can flourish.
The staff currently consists of two preschool teachers, two childcare workers, and a combined role for a finance assistant and cleaner. We are now in need of a new permanent employee who wants to become an important part of our operations.
Job Responsibilities
As a childcare worker with us, you will work alongside the principal and other staff to:
- Plan, implement, and develop the educational activities,
- Document and evaluate the work according to applicable governing documents and curriculum,
- Create a safe, learning, and inspiring environment for the children,
- Work based on the preschool's core values and professional approach,
- Contribute to good collaboration within a small team,
- Use nature and the outdoor environment as a natural part of daily pedagogy.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Qualified childcare worker
- Ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues
- Basic digital competence (e.g., computer, iPad)
- Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious:
- Experience working in preschool
- Knowledge of the preschool curriculum and the preschool's mission
