Together, we make a difference! Welcome to us Östra Vällingby Preschools consists of 7 preschools divided into 3 units. We are now seeking temporary staff for some of our preschools. This is a time-limited assignment during the spring semester of 2026. At Östra Vällingby Preschools, we always put the child at the center. Your Role As a childcare worker, you will participate in teaching based on the preschool curriculum to promote children's development and learning. With pedagogical documentation as an approach, it is important to be in dialogue with children during their play and learning. The work requires a strong ability to create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues, as well as being flexible and taking initiative. You should have a language-developing approach that promotes play and communication. The work occurs both indoors and outdoors, so you need to see the advantages of being outside even in varying weather conditions. Work with routine situations such as preparing, cleaning up, table setting, and helping with dressing and undressing is also part of the assignment. Your Competence and Experience Preferred qualifications include: - Trained as a childcare worker - Several years of experience, as we highly value pedagogical work - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written - A co-researching pedagogue who can challenge children in everyday life through play and imagination - A good and professional approach You must have a current and approved extract from the criminal record register in connection with employment.
