Who Are We?
Kungsängs Unit Preschools consist of four preschools: Björnbäret, Solstenen, Bitbocken, and Murklan, all located in the Smedby/Rambodal district. We are now seeking a childcare worker for Solstenen Preschool.
Kungsängs Unit has a shared organization that supports participation and influence at all levels through reflection and collegiate learning. We work in a project-oriented manner where reflection and pedagogical documentation support our systematic quality work.
Our view of people and learning is based on a post-structural and sociocultural perspective, where the learning environment and the group's significance for collective exploration are important parts of learning. To implement this in education and teaching, we have developed four shared core values: Welcoming, Together, Differences, and Hope for the Future. These values are integrated into our education and teaching and serve as a tool for our collective approach.
We have a special education teacher employed in the area and a development educator within the unit who, together with principals and educators, develop and drive the pedagogical work. As an employee, you will receive continuous skills development based on the unit's goals and opportunities for collegiate learning.
Your Responsibilities
As a childcare worker, you will work based on the preschool's current governing documents, our prioritized target areas of language and mathematics, and implement these in education.
You will be committed to developing education and actively participate in systematic quality work. You will work to provide children with security, influence, and opportunities to learn through play, exploration, and creativity in various ways.
Your approach will be characterized by clear communication, respect for the individual, and a professional and trustful relationship with children, guardians, and colleagues.
Who Are You?
We are seeking a trained childcare worker with experience working in preschool and experience and competence in working with children with neuropsychiatric functional variations.
You have good knowledge of the preschool's mission and are well-versed in the preschool curriculum and other governing documents.
As a person, you are confident and responsible with good self-awareness. You easily create secure and positive relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.
You are curious about children's thoughts and questions, creative, and engaged. Based on this, you have the pedagogical ability to adapt teaching to children's interests and individual needs and allow them to be participatory.
As we work in a dynamic environment where the pace varies during the workday, we see that you have the ability to remain calm and make wise priorities even during high-intensity moments.
The position requires good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
