Hede Preschool has two departments. The preschool is located near forests and nature. Härjedalen Municipality is a Sámi administrative area, and the preschool therefore works with Sámi integration. We are constantly working on the development and quality assurance of the preschool, known as systematic quality work.
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a childcare worker will involve working in accordance with the preschool curriculum LpFö2018. You will participate in the planning, follow-up, and documentation of the activities, and together with the team, implement the educational activities for children aged 1-5 years.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a qualified childcare worker or has significant experience in the field. You should be accustomed to taking responsibility, be responsive to children's expressions of will, be a present educator who collaborates easily with different people, and always maintain focus on your mission with the children. Good language skills in Sámi are an asset. The role also involves being a good role model for children and colleagues and having a solid understanding of the equal value of all people—what we call a trusting approach. For this position, a police record check is a prerequisite for employment.
