The Department of Children and Education operates on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The department is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary schools, and adapted primary schools. Preschool Entitan is a municipal preschool located in central Huddinge, part of the Fullersta-Stuvsta-Högmora preschool area. Entitan is a small preschool with two departments. The preschool has a large and varied outdoor environment and its own kitchen. It is situated in central Huddinge with direct access to both bus and commuter train services.
**Job Description**
Preschool Entitan is seeking a childcare worker with documented knowledge and experience in NPF (Neuropsychiatric Functional Disorders) for younger children. As a childcare worker with us, you will contribute to a safe and developmental environment for our children. You will work alongside preschool teachers and colleagues in the team to plan, implement, and follow up on activities based on the preschool curriculum. As a substitute childcare worker at Preschool Entitan, you are expected to be involved in all aspects of education according to the curriculum's directives. Additionally, you will, in close collaboration and under the guidance of preschool teachers, conduct planned and spontaneous teaching in the preschool as well as introductions for new children and families.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a childcare worker education with proof of certification
• Has previous work experience in a preschool setting
• Has good knowledge of the preschool's governing documents
• Has documented knowledge in NPF
• Has strong proficiency in the preschool's language of instruction (Swedish) and can express themselves fluently in both spoken and written forms.
As a person, you are collaborative, attentive, positive, independent, and experienced in conducting pedagogical documentation. You are flexible, resilient under stress, and possess a good ability to cooperate. You engage with children, colleagues, and guardians in a responsive and smooth manner, listening and communicating constructively.
For this position, you will need to provide a valid extract from the criminal record before employment can commence.
This is a fixed-term position from December 10, 2025, to June 30, 2026. It is a full-time position with a start date of December 10 or as agreed.
