Welcome to the pearl of the Göta River Valley - we do it together! **Description** We are now seeking two preschool assistants who want to be part of offering the children at Klosterängen Preschool a joyful, meaningful, and educational time at preschool. Klosterängen Preschool is located in central Lödöse. The preschool consists of five departments distributed across two buildings connected by a large shared yard. The surrounding area includes both forests and the Lödöse Museum. We are committed to continuous development and currently have a special focus on children's early language development and providing learning environments that encourage exploration and learning. As an educator with us, your mission is to be curious about what the children show and express, and to use their expressions to further challenge them based on the goals of the curriculum. It involves taking advantage of the diverse ideas present among the children and making them visible to the children themselves and the group. Create and capture situations that challenge the children's thoughts through questions such as what, how, and why. We invest in professional development to maintain an updated quality and shared understanding in our preschools. Within the Education sector, we work to create conditions for a sharing culture between our preschools and schools. We offer our educators, AAC, pedagogical cafés, and all preschool educators are currently undergoing a process training via Gothia Competence to certify the preschool for play. In Lilla Edet, we view meals as an important part of the educational work with children - therefore, we provide free pedagogical lunches. As educational support, we have two development pedagogues who have an enhanced role in leading the pedagogical development at the preschool. We also have special educators who work closely with the teams and support the development of good conditions for all children to learn and grow. The Education sector is tasked with offering stimulating learning environments in our preschools where children have the conditions to develop their language by listening to read-aloud sessions and discussing literature and other texts. The education in our preschools should provide children with the conditions to think, learn, and communicate in different contexts and for various purposes. This lays the foundation for children to eventually acquire the knowledge that everyone in society needs. **Job Responsibilities** We are now looking for you, a qualified preschool assistant, who wants to be part of continuing to develop our work at Klosterängen Preschool, where together we will offer an education that lays the foundation for lifelong learning for our children. A major focus is on continuously developing our learning environments/meeting places to spark children's curiosity and desire to grow and learn. We would like you to have experience in creating inspiring and well-planned environments that promote children's development, learning, and curiosity. Together with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that children are offered a joyful and developing education. You will use pedagogical documentation with your colleagues as a basis for reflection, discussion, and development of the preschool's education. As a preschool assistant, you are an important part of the team and are expected to actively contribute to ensuring that the preschool's operations are based on the governing documents applicable to preschools. You take responsibility for carrying out the tasks included in the team's shared responsibilities and work to create a safe, educational, and stimulating environment for the children. **Qualifications** It is advantageous if you have experience in the profession.
