Sorsele is a Sami administrative municipality and we welcome applicants with one of the Sami languages as their mother tongue.
We are currently seeking, subject to necessary approvals, a combined position of childcare worker (80%) + kitchen assistant (20%) for the educational operations in Sorsele, currently located at Rävlyan Preschool in Ammarnäs.
Your Responsibilities
Together with your colleague, you will be responsible for the pedagogical activities based on the curriculum's mandate. This includes planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of activities according to established goals. Some collaboration with after-school programs is included.
As a kitchen assistant, you will prepare, potentially cook, and serve meals in a pleasant and hygienic manner. You are responsible for dishwashing and cleaning kitchen areas, ensuring daily routines for self-control, special diets, and individual needs are followed and met. The work also includes some ordering, as well as checking deliveries and inventory.

Competence and Qualifications - Requirements
Childcare worker education, preferably with food technology training for large-scale catering or equivalent education in kitchen and food services, or work experience deemed equivalent by the employer. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. Knowledge of Sami languages and/or food hygiene is meritorious.
Duration/Working Hours:
100% employment. Permanent position. Probationary employment may be applied.
Salary:
According to agreement. The municipality applies individual salary setting.
