We are seeking two full-time childcare workers for temporary positions starting January 9 until the end of June 2026.
Your Mission
In your role as a childcare worker in grades F-3, you will be a present, active, and supportive educator during school hours, serving as a trusted adult during all transitions such as breaks, physical education, and other activities. You will work with full and half classes and support individual students who need special/extra assistance. During after-school activities, you will participate in and be responsible for various programs. Together with your after-school colleagues, you will plan, prepare, implement, and evaluate activities based on established guidelines. You will approach after-school programs as pedagogical instruction and continue the school's various themes and focus areas.
You will be part of a grade-level team consisting of teachers and after-school staff. You will collaborate and be responsible for students' social development, safety, and break activities, as well as conduct fun and educational indoor and outdoor activities. Additional responsibilities include morning student reception, attendance management, daily contact with guardians, participation in after-school and grade-level meetings, and engagement in the school's systematic quality improvement work. Opening and closing the after-school program are also part of the position.
Your Experience
For this position, you must have:
- High school or post-secondary education in childcare
- Experience working as a childcare worker in after-school programs for grades F-3
- Knowledge and experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disorders
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Knowledge and experience working with students requiring additional adaptations and special support
- Strong digital competence
