About this role
About Us
Outpatient Clinics for Child and Adolescent Medicine (BUM) offer specialized healthcare for children and adolescents up to 18 years old who do not require hospitalization.
We collaborate across units. We investigate, treat, and follow up on allergies, asthma, intestinal diseases, epilepsy, urinary tract infections, and growth-related issues. We also address certain developmental abnormalities and psychosomatic problems.
The unit in Kungälv also has a clinic in Stenungsund. Our team includes pediatric nurses, pediatricians, child dieticians, child and youth psychologists, pediatric speech therapists, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants. BUM Kungälv is the larger clinic in terms of patient base and services, while BUM Stenungsund is a part-time clinic. We regularly collaborate with hospitals, healthcare centers, child healthcare centers, school health services, youth clinics, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), Child and Youth Habilitation (BUH), and social services.
About the Work
We offer a varied and stimulating work environment at our clinic. As a pediatric nurse, you will work both individually and in teams. Common tasks include running your own nursing clinics for conditions such as asthma, enuresis, obesity, and more. The work also involves telephone consultations, sample collection, and food provocation tests.
About You
We are seeking a licensed nurse with advanced training in child and youth healthcare. Experience with outpatient work in BUM is particularly meritorious.
As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have good collaborative skills. Maintaining a professional approach and positive attitude towards both patients and colleagues is a given for you. We welcome candidates interested in developing the organization alongside us.
Terms
This is a 90% temporary position starting from 2026-01-01 to 2026-08-31. The placement will be at the Kungälv clinic.
Warmly welcome to apply!
