About this role
Join the Team at Martina Children's Hospital BUMM and Minor Emergency Unit at Sophiahemmet!
Are you interested in working at a workplace where children and young people's health is always the focus - and where you'll have the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally? Then Martina Children's Hospital might be the right place for you.
About Martina Children's Hospital
Martina Children's Hospital is Stockholm's largest healthcare provider in pediatric outpatient care, with over 250 employees across multiple clinics in the city. Our largest unit is located at Sophiahemmet.
We provide pediatric and adolescent medical services (BUMM) on behalf of Region Stockholm, including neuropsychiatric assessments. Additionally, we operate three child health centers and speech and orthopedic services for children.
While our core work is general pediatrics, we also have many subspecialists. Our pediatric nurses have specialized expertise in areas such as ADHD, asthma/allergies, gastroenterology, obesity, and urotherapy, and we also have an active dietitian service.
About the Sophiahemmet Unit
We are now seeking an engaged pediatric nurse or nurse with pediatric experience for our team at Martina BUMM and Minor Emergency Unit.
Here, you'll join an unpretentious and cohesive team where pediatric nurses, pediatricians, child psychiatrists, nursing assistants, operational coordinators, psychologists, and speech therapists collaborate closely to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Knowledge sharing, skills development, and supervision are natural parts of our daily routine. We offer a safe, pleasant, and developmental environment where job satisfaction and community are the focus. As an employer, we are flexible and strive to tailor positions that work for both you and our operational needs.
Your Role
We are seeking a specialist nurse in pediatric and adolescent medicine. The role is broad and varied, encompassing work in the minor emergency unit and operating your own nursing clinic within BUMM healthcare choice.
At the minor emergency unit, we receive children with infections, wound injuries, suspected fractures, and other acute, minor conditions. You will work with tasks such as sample collection, spirometry, vital parameters, dressing changes, and assisting doctors during examinations and treatments.
At the nursing clinic, you'll have your own patients for tasks like asthma and allergy checks, eczema school, enuresis and constipation, obesity, follow-up of ADHD medication, and consultation via phone or video.
You will work in close collaboration with interprofessional teams while also having independent responsibility for your patients.
We Offer
• A dynamic work environment with high competence and strong job satisfaction
• An academic climate with internal training and supervision
• Collective agreement, occupational pension, and wellness allowance
• Flexible working hours for work-life balance
• A values-driven culture focusing on competence, commitment, teamwork, and accessibility
About You
We seek someone who is engaged, solution-oriented, and collaborative. You combine high professional competence with a warm and secure approach, contributing to a culture where patient safety and job satisfaction go hand in hand.
The position can be full-time or part-time. Schedules may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Application
If you're interested in becoming part of our team - as an employee or consultant - we warmly welcome your expression of interest, which takes just a few seconds. Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
We look forward to hearing from you!
