We are now seeking someone interested in working as a Pediatric/District Nurse at two of Närhälsan's units in Alingsås – Sörhaga and Ängabo Child Health Center.

About Us
At Närhälsan Sörhaga Health Center, 25 committed employees from different professional categories work together. We have approximately 8,200 listed patients of various ages and work together to meet our patients' needs. The Child Health Center is located adjacent to the health center, where Psychologists for Parenthood and Small Children are also based. The health center is centrally located in Alingsås, with close proximity to Alingsås Hospital. From central Gothenburg, it takes about 40 minutes to reach us. The train station is about a 10-minute walk away, and a bus stop is located right outside. The health center is near green areas, including Nolhaga Park – perfect for lunch walks.
Närhälsan Ängabo Health Center is a well-functioning unit with approximately 7,500 listed patients, beautifully situated on the outskirts of Alingsås. We have around 30 employees with good collaboration between staff categories. The Child Health Center is located in the same premises as the health center. We have close cooperation with the rehabilitation clinic in the building. Great emphasis is placed on a positive work environment characterized by humor and team spirit. There are good bus connections for those who commute.

About the Work
Your tasks at the Child Health Center are varied. You will follow children with guardians from newborn to school start. You play a central role in meeting families' needs, making medical and care-related assessments and prioritizations. You work to promote health, provide advice, and treat through telephone, home visits, digital care meetings, and clinic consultations.
You will conduct health checks, vaccinations, and parent groups. The patient group consists of children 0-6 years old and their families. Collaboration occurs with external actors such as preschool, school, and specialized healthcare. Supervision of students is also part of your role.
About You
You are a registered nurse with specialist training in pediatric or district nursing. Experience working with children and youth and supervision training is meritorious, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome.
You take initiative, are confident in decisions, thorough, and have good problem-solving skills. You are accommodating, attentive, and want to help others. You enjoy teamwork and like to collaborate with colleagues and external contacts. You communicate well verbally and in writing, are engaged, and a good listener. Interest in digitalization and business development is a plus.
You have a professional approach and provide good treatment towards patients and colleagues. You live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.
Additional Information
The advertisement is for two positions located at Sörhaga Child Health Center and Ängabo Child Health Center. Distribution between units will be determined based on operational needs and your preferences. In the selection questions, you can indicate which unit you prefer.
Travel in service is required, a B driver's license is necessary.

About the Recruitment Process
Selection occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who will call candidates for a telephone interview. The recruiting manager will then make a second selection of candidates and invite them to an interview at the health center.
