Job Description:
The Youth Clinic is a high-demand service where you will work on visits related to youth sexuality and health through counseling, contraceptive advice, STI testing and treatment. Work includes both physical and digital consultations. Part of our work involves outreach activities, such as offering study visits to all 8th-grade students. Contributing to the development and change processes of the organization is seen as a natural part of your work, as well as supporting the youth clinic's mission. We collectively staff our 4 clinics across the county.
Qualifications:
- Licensed midwife with prescribing rights
- Commitment and great respect and interest in young people's living conditions
- Ability to create professional, trusting relationships with youth, colleagues, and partners through a humble and unpretentious approach
- Capacity to independently plan, manage, and document work
- Flexible attitude
The overall goal of the Youth Clinic is to promote physical and mental health, focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights among young people. The clinic operates in four locations: Örebro, Lindesberg, Karlskoga, and Hallsberg. Nurses, midwives, counselors, psychologists, and doctors work together in an interdisciplinary collaboration. Some staff are proficient in sign language.
