Lasarettet Trelleborg, with approximately 600 employees, is the personal hospital with great opportunities! We provide specialized basic healthcare for a catchment area of 100,000 inhabitants. The reception and rehabilitation medicine department includes outpatient services in gynecology, surgery and urology, speech therapy (care choice), ophthalmology (care choice), medical reception with clinics in endocrinology, gastroenterology, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, neurology, and rheumatology. Rehabilitation and support services. The Trelleborg hospital also includes an ear, nose, and throat clinic, emergency reception (daily open from 08:00-20:00), three inpatient wards, and planned orthopedic surgical services.
The Gynecology Reception is a specialist clinic open Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:00. Patients arrive via referral or self-care referral. The clinic performs minor surgical procedures (LEEP conization). The Gynecology Reception team consists of a midwife, a gynecologist, a nursing assistant, and a medical secretary.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a midwife, you will have your own reception where the majority of work involves follow-up of abnormal cell samples and management and monitoring of prolapse rings. The work is done in close collaboration with the clinic's gynecologist. You will also be responsible for the reception's phone and 1177 advisory services.
You will have great opportunities to shape your own reception related to the unit's mission, based on your competence and experience. You are expected to be involved in designing your work tasks based on your previous experience and skills. As the only midwife at the reception, you will have opportunities for collaboration and experience exchange with other midwives within Region Skåne. Digital development enables smooth contact pathways to build networks across administrations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome applicants who are licensed midwives authorized to work in Swedish healthcare, with prescription rights and preferably with uro-therapy competence. Swedish language skills at least at C1 level according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Professional experience in gynecology and reception work is meritorious.
We seek candidates who are flexible, comfortable working independently, and not afraid to take initiative. You should have the ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure and be humble towards both patients and colleagues. These abilities contribute to providing high-quality care and creating good relationships. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
