The Maternity Ward in Helsingborg provides care for pregnant women and women in labor, including births with complications. Our team consists of midwives, nursing assistants, and doctors who work to ensure that our patients have a beautiful and secure birthing experience every day. We strive to fulfill the patient's wishes while maintaining paramount medical safety. Our ward is characterized by bright, beautiful facilities and a good work environment.
DUTIES
We welcome new midwife colleagues who want to develop within their professional field and are interested in women's healthcare. We offer an interesting and stimulating job where you have excellent opportunities for further development in obstetrics. As a midwife with us, your task is to ensure that the pregnant and birthing woman, partner, and child are cared for in the best possible way and provided with safe and secure care.
Together with a nursing assistant, you are independently responsible for normal deliveries, and in complicated cases, you collaborate with doctors.
As a new colleague, you will receive an individually tailored introduction. We also have a mentorship program that spans the first year of employment.
Positions include night shifts and day and evening shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying should be a licensed midwife with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement, as well as a valid B driver's license. Previous work experience from maternity wards, delivery rooms, and/or prenatal care is meritorious, as is in-depth education in breastfeeding.
We are seeking someone who enjoys working independently and appreciates flexibility in work, with much of the work taking place in the patient's home. Your commitment and positive attitude contribute to a good work climate. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
