Job Description

In your role as a specialist midwife, you will lead and develop care in an interdisciplinary environment, aiming to enhance collaboration and ensure both quality and patient safety. By reviewing, analyzing, and implementing current research in a critical and methodical manner, you contribute to ensuring that the care provided is evidence-based and tailored to the needs of the organization.

Your work includes:

  • Designing and ensuring the quality of guidelines and routines based on the latest research, which creates conditions for increased patient safety.
  • Contributing to training days that support the continuous learning of the team.
  • Independently conveying knowledge and experience by supporting colleagues in their professional development and mentoring within clinical work.
  • Collaborating with the education units of Skåne University Hospital (Sus) to support and develop practical education, further enhancing the quality of care.

Administrative time and content for the assignment will be determined in agreement with the unit manager and adapted according to the needs of the organization. During the summer period, no time is allocated for administrative tasks, focusing solely on clinical work.
