In this role, the focus is on strengthening the team's competence in daily practical work and improving patient safety through evidence-based methods and routines. The role is distinguished by emphasizing direct support and mentorship in daily work. If you are passionate about creating a safe, learning healthcare environment and supporting colleagues in their clinical development, this is the role for you!

In our workplace, we operate according to Region Skåne's Competency and Service Model (KTM), which provides a clear structure for your learning and career opportunities within our organization.

As a midwife in a senior phase, you possess a comprehensive understanding of your profession and handle, analyze, and guide complex care situations in clinical patient-focused work. Throughout your career, you have participated in and managed acute rare events and continue to deepen your skills while contributing to developmental work. In your role, you use your extensive clinical experience to support and educate the care team in practical work. Through supervision and mentorship, you help colleagues strengthen their clinical skills and contribute to maintaining high patient safety in every encounter.

  • Your leadership promotes a safe and positive working environment, where collaboration and team spirit are at the forefront.
  • You support the team in managing both everyday challenges and sudden changes with clear preparedness for action.
  • You are expected to have good pedagogical abilities, be an active participant in implementing previous research and evidence, and be involved in developing new working methods.
