About the Position
Assignment Information:
Sanandum is seeking an experienced midwife for an assignment at the Women's Clinic in Västervik. Here you will work on a combined unit covering delivery, maternity ward, and gynecology, with approximately 900 deliveries per year and close collaboration between units during high workload and acute situations.
You will rotate between all three departments and encounter women throughout the entire care pathway – from pregnancy and childbirth to postpartum care and gynecological conditions.
Requirements:
• Licensed midwife
• Delivery experience
• Approved CTG training
• Proficiency in Cosmic and Obstetrix medical systems
• Adult S-HLR (Emergency Life Support)
• SITHS level 2
• Ability to work day/evening/night shifts according to AB13, including holidays
• Vaccination/immunity: measles, rubella, hepatitis B
Period: Week 51 (2025) – Week 8 (2026)
Scope: Approximately 296 hours according to schedule
Location: Västervik Hospital
Accommodation: We can help you with housing if you are residing in another location. Sanandum will handle the entire housing process for you.
Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience as a midwife. As a person, you are positive, hardworking, and quick to learn new information and guidelines.
Compensation: We apply individual compensation. We take into account years of professional experience, specific competencies, additional training, availability, and travel and accommodation needs.
