About Us The Midwifery Clinics in Trollhättan, Lilla Edet, and Vänersborg share a common manager and work closely together, for example through joint workplace meetings and the same telephone system (ACE). All clinics are centrally located with good communication options. At the Trollhättan clinic, approximately eleven midwives work, and in May 2022, we moved into new, fresh premises located in Odenhuset. The Lilla Edet clinic is a smaller clinic with two midwives and is part of a family center-like operation. The clinic is co-located with the Youth Clinic, Närhälsan Rehab Clinic, FOSB Psychologists, Family Center, Healthcare Center, and Child Healthcare Center, which makes it easy to collaborate with neighboring healthcare providers. About the Work As a midwife, you work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological cell screening, vaccination, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention, and group parental support. You will also work with telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and student supervision. What Do We Offer? Experience working at a midwifery clinic is meritorious. As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.
