I am a cheerful 10-year-old boy who enjoys play and fun, but also cozy moments reading a book together. I have epilepsy and a multi-functional disability that affects my breathing capacity and causes mucus issues. Since I need support around the clock, I have double assistance, meaning you will always work alongside a colleague.
Working with me involves supporting me in my daily life and activities, and creating a safe and stimulating environment. We are looking for someone who has experience and/or interest in working with children and has the ability to recognize and learn my various signals and needs, both medical and developmental. Most importantly, our personal chemistry must be a good fit!
We are currently seeking:
• A personal assistant for a few afternoon/evening shifts.
• Someone who wants to work extra as needed, to cover absences due to illness and other leaves. Please indicate in your application what you are interested in.
Qualifications:
• You are reliable, responsible, flexible, and have a positive attitude.
• You must be smoke-free.
• Previous experience with epilepsy and mucus issues is an advantage, but personal suitability will be given great importance.
