About us: Vävarns Kaffe is a cozy and popular coffee shop located at the Sickla Udde station on the Tvärbana in Hammarby Sjöstad. We are known for our personal atmosphere and our exquisite coffee and baked goods. We are now looking for a dedicated and service-oriented barista who wants to become part of our team. The position starts in January.
Job Description: As a barista at Vävarns Kaffe, you will be our face to the public. You will be responsible for making coffee, sandwiches, and salads, as well as displaying bread from our bakery, among other tasks. Personal qualities are very important to us, as we value a friendly and positive attitude. We have many regular customers. It is an added bonus if you can bake.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve coffee, bread, and salads
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Handle the cash register and keep the work area clean and organized
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth café operations
• Open and close the café, including cleaning
Qualifications:
• At least one year of experience as a barista
• Good knowledge of latte art and an interest in coffee
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new things
