Job Responsibilities

As a Track Technician with driving proficiency, you will be part of a team working on the operation and maintenance of railways as well as some new construction. The position involves participation in:

• yard reconstructions
• track construction
• track welding
• rail and sleeper replacements

Managing and correcting any discrepancies that arise is a natural part of the work. With the support of your supervisor, you will ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with laws, regulations, and procedures governing the execution of our assignments.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a completed upper secondary education. The position requires:

• a category B driver's license
• meeting medical requirements to be approved for safety service

To be considered for this position, we will conduct selection tests and a medical examination for the driving position for the final candidate before hiring.

Meritorious:

• Further education in track technology
• Category C driver's license
• Authorization to operate track vehicles
• Experience from the railway industry
