Our broad product range includes emulsifiers, freshness enhancers, bread and pastry mixes, chocolate products, flavors, and food colors – products sold B2B for further processing by our customers. Within the group, Bakels Sweden acts as a competence hub for Technical Cake Ingredients – products with technical functions developed for use in various bakery applications. We refer to this as our Center of Competence, which includes all our product developers to varying extents. We are currently on an exciting development journey, renewing both our strategy and corporate culture. We are strengthening collaboration between departments and focusing on innovation, technically advanced products, and solutions that create real added value for our customers. We are now looking for someone who wants to help shape this journey with us. The position is a permanent employment with a start date as soon as possible. Our development department currently consists of seven experienced employees from diverse backgrounds, who are eager to share their knowledge and experiences. As a person, you are curious, proactive, and self-driven with the ability to push your work forward. You are structured and meticulous, enjoying both practical and administrative tasks. Your main responsibilities will include: • Acting as project manager in product development projects. • Developing new recipes within your product category, which includes laboratory work. • Participating in the startup of production for new products. • Working on continuous improvements and further development of existing products. • Contributing to the company’s sustainability efforts by developing products and processes focused on resource efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable raw materials. • Administering recipes and product information in our business system D365 and product information system. We are looking for someone with a university degree in food science, chemistry, biochemistry/biotechnology, or equivalent. Previous experience in product development is advantageous but not a requirement – your willingness to learn and contribute is most important. It is essential that you can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You have good computer skills and find it easy to learn new programs.
