About this role

Coop Kongahälla is a well-established and attractive store with a good selection and a clear organic profile. Our opening hours are 7 AM to 11 PM every day of the week to ensure excellent accessibility for all our customers. The team running the store consists of around 40 employees plus several additional part-time staff. We are expanding and are now looking for further additions to our store. This time, we are seeking two Bakers/Pastry Chefs. The bakery is a very important part of our store and has a significant presence. As a baker/pastry chef, you will have a great responsibility to work with your colleagues to create a vibrant store that constantly exceeds our customers' expectations. Every customer should feel unique through your sense of service and creativity. As a baker/pastry chef, you should be able to offer our customers a fresh and inviting department every day of the week. The responsibilities for both positions include everything from bread production to working with the store's catering operations, baking wedding cakes, managing orders, promotions, and planning recipes. In one of the positions, part of the time will also involve working as a cold kitchen assistant. For both roles, it is important that you have a keen sense for trends and innovations to continuously maximize sales in combination with our customers' unique wishes. We expect you to have prior experience in these areas and documented knowledge of hygiene and safe handling of raw materials. Together with your colleagues, you will work to create a sales-driven and inspiring environment while ensuring that Coop's sustainability policy is adhered to. The positions are two permanent part-time contracts of 35 hours per week. A probationary period applies. Apply via coop.se. - Education as a baker/pastry chef and/or equivalent experience is a requirement. - Experience working as a cold kitchen assistant is an advantage. - Experience working with fresh produce in a store is highly advantageous. - Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
