What you will actually do!
Our platform automates electricity trading using AI, predictive models, and data-driven decisions so that our customers can make smart decisions in real-time. As a Backend Developer with DevOps responsibilities, you will become a central part of our core team. In short: you will take technical ownership of the entire chain – from data input to driving business decisions for our customers.
You will build the heart of our platform – robust backend logic in .NET/C# that powers the calculations behind electricity trading. This involves creating efficient solutions that can handle large volumes of data with high performance and reliability.
You will develop smart RESTful APIs that enable our systems, models, and user interfaces to communicate seamlessly with each other. What you build will become the hub where data flows, is analyzed, and transformed into actual decisions.
You will think about data quality in every line of code – structuring, optimizing, and securing time series data to ensure it is always accurate and traceable.
You will take responsibility for Kubernetes clusters and Linux environments, plan resources, and fine-tune performance. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall process by working with CI/CD and GitOps workflows that make our deliveries fast, secure, and automated.
In summary: you will build, operate, and improve the technology that makes the future of electricity trading function effectively.
What you need to know:
- Backend development in .NET/C# (3+ years)
You are confident in modern backend development and experienced in building stable, scalable, and resource-efficient solutions.
- Kubernetes & Linux
You have practical experience working in containerized environments and managing clustered systems in production.
- Databases & SQL
You can model data, write efficient queries, and work systematically with data quality and data integrity.
- Data flows & ETL-like processes
You have worked with large datasets, normalization, validation, and various patterns to ensure data is accurate and consistent.
- CI/CD & GitOps-oriented workflows
You are accustomed to automated release processes and working version-controlled with clear procedures.
- Language & education
Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Relevant education or several years of documented work experience in the field.
It is a plus if you have:
- Domain knowledge
Experience working with time series data or in the energy/finance domain.
- Code quality
Experience with unit testing, logging (e.g., Serilog), and API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Performance
Experience optimizing I/O-intensive processes and asynchronous programming (async/await) in C#.
- Infrastructure
Knowledge of virtualization software/hypervisor.
